Airport Information
Air transportation to Big Sky is via Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN).  BZN is 53 miles from Big Sky through the Gallatin Canyon. Travel from BZN to Big Sky via the shuttle services below or by booking a car rental. Contact TRISH at RRS' Preferred Travel Agency, The Travel Station, to book your rental.

Exclusive Airport Shuttle Services

If you need transportation to Big Sky, MT shuttles are available to and from the airport. Please call 1-888-995-3088 to reserve your shuttle or edit your registration.

Easy transportation from the airport to Big Sky is via airport shuttle provided by Karst Stage. Karst Stage’s desk is located just past baggage claim in the airport. When you arrive and while you are waiting for your baggage, please check in at their desk.

Round Trip: $82 per person
One-Way Trip: $54 per person

Note: Cancelled shuttle tickets are refundable until February 1, 2018. After that date, cancellations are non-refundable.

*PLEASE NOTE:  If your flight arrives later than 11:15pm, you may not be able to take a shuttle on that night. You may rent a car and drive to Big Sky or stay in Bozeman for the night and take a shuttle to Big Sky the next morning. A Meeting By Design has discounted rooms available at a Bozeman property, which features a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. To book a pre-night in Bozeman, complete your shuttle reservations following the directions above, then click the Pre-Night Lodging button on the next screen. If you are not planning to stay in Bozeman, click on the Host Lodging button to be directed to Big Sky Lodging.

Driving Directions
Book your rental cars through RRS' Preferred Travel Agency, The Travel Station, for the most competitive rates. Simply call 800.522.8747. Please have flight information available. Please note there are no car rental options in Big Sky. If you wish to visit Yellowstone National Park, you will need to rent from the airport.

Big Sky Resort is approximately a 45 minute drive from the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. Average traveling times are an hour to an hour and a half. West Yellowstone and Bozeman are also approximately an hour's drive from the resort.

Parking at Big Sky Resort is free to hotel guests. Optional underground valet is available for $15 for Summit Guests.

What to Wear
Average daytime temperature for Big Sky, Montana from February 28 - March 2 is 38 degrees Fahrenheit with nighttime average lows of 11 degrees. Please dress appropriately by bringing a winter coat, thick gloves, a hat and snow pants if you plan to participate in an outdoor activity.
